Announcements: All of the Keweenaw County Historical Museums are now closed for the season. We look forward to seeing you when most of our museums reopen on June 11, 2017. We will update the the museum calender with opening dates for specific museums once we have finalized all of our summer events and dates.
3-27-2017- We still have a few openings for summer and fall 2017 at the Rental Cottage which is The Assistant Light Keepers Cottage. It's located near the Eagle Harbor Lighthouse on the shore of Lake Superior. See the Rental Cottage tab above for details and contact information.

The Central Memorial Garden was established in September, 2007. It was created by and is maintained by a group of Master Gardeners and volunteers. The vision of the garden was a garden of beauty and tradition in memory of the families of Central. Plants may be donated in the name of a loved one. Contact the web master for information.

Hours & Admission - The Central Memorial Garden is open year round.

Location -The Central Memorial Garden is located directly across from the Central Mine Visitor's Center. It is about 5 miles northeast of Phoenix, just north of the intersection of US 41 and the Central-Gratiot Lake Roads intersection. GPS: N 47 24.346 W 88 12.025, Decimal Degrees: 47.40577, -88.20042
