May 10, 1901. The Bon Voyage with a crew of 26 and 5 female passengers sailed out of Ontonagon Harbor enroute to Keweenaw ports. It would not arrive. Fire broke out off Redridge and raged out of control. Mystery surrounds the disaster and raises questions. Why did event accounts by the crew, the media & surviving female vary so significantly?
