KCHS Rental Opportunities

Keweenaw County Historical Society MEMBERSHIP offers two opportunities to stay in an historic Keweenaw County building.

The Light Keeper's Cottage

The Light Keepers Cottage is located in the Eagle Harbor Lighthouse Complex, located on Lighthouse Drive, not far from the swimming beach along M26 in Eagle Harbor.

The Miner's Home

The Miner’s Home is located in the mining community of Central, just off of US 41 north of Phoenix, and within 7 miles of both Eagle River and Eagle Harbor beaches.

All sites are closed for the season

We are looking for VOLUNTEERS for the upcoming season!

Our volunteers leave an impression with thousands of visitors every season.

Volunteer opportunities include:
Gift Shop, Maintenance, Spring Cleaning, Research/Writing, Gardening, Guide/Docent, Program Outreach,  and so much more.

If you can offer your time and skill, please consider joining our volunteer team. Stop by our table at the Volunteer Fair at the KNHP  Calumet Visitor's Center from 12 - 4pm Saturday April 20th.
