Keweenaw County Historical Society MEMBERSHIP offers two opportunities to stay in an historic Keweenaw County building.

The Light Keeper's Cottage

The Light Keepers Cottage is located in the Eagle Harbor Lighthouse Complex, located on Lighthouse Drive, not far from the swimming beach along M26 in Eagle Harbor.

The Miner's Home

The Miner’s Home is located in the mining community of Central, just off of US 41 north of Phoenix, and within 7 miles of both Eagle River and Eagle Harbor beaches.

PUBLIC AUCTION OF ORIGINAL PAINTING-
used for the cover of “Shipwrecked and Rescued; Cars and Crew” By Larry Jorgensen.

Mr. Jorgensen commissioned artist Clyde Mikkola to paint scenes of the Shipwreck City of Bangor for his book cover.

The author donated the painting to the Keweenaw County Historical Society to be used as a fundraiser.

It will be sold to the highest bidder.
